Spring is Here

The trees have leafed out, the sun is shining and the garden is calling. The house dust will have to wait.

Oh, yes, it has. I’ve actually got the windows open tonight, at least for a little while longer — and despite the pollen.

Unless that house dust is actually tree pollen!

Oh, are those cottonwoods, elms or . . . what are they?

    • I am pretty sure neither of those. I hate to admit, I am have not learned all the names of trees in this area, but these are natives and some kind of oak in a circle of sister trees. They do make acorns. There are about 4 or so in that group with one on my property. There is another 3 or 4 towards the front of my yard. I left as many native trees as I could on my lot when we built and I had our house moved to save some trees.
