Much Needed Color

Normally, The Automatic Garden has quite a few flowering plants during the winter, but not this cold winter.  Thank goodness for the sturdy Camellias that grow in the garden and have provided much needed color.

A couple of days of warm weather prompted a few Azaleas to pop open early and add a little more color to this dreary winter.

It has been dreary, hasn’t it? When I went to bed last night, today’s forecast was for sun. Right now? More clouds and fog. Thank goodness for the camellias and azaleas — and early wildflowers — that brighten things up a bit! Yours are lovely.

I can only dream of camellias and azaleas, so thanks for sharing yours–they’re just gorgeous! Winter is nearly done. Spring–and color–are just around the bend!

We all want some brightness to lighten the grey days this winter. You’ve had a long wet winter here it has been long and cold. Whichever, I think we want some warming sun now don’t we?

  4. I miss the Camellias and Indicas, thanks for sharing.

Oh, I miss the camellias. Of course, this time of year, we would be raking the fallen flowers to slow the blight. Ick!
