Pink Snow

After a couple of days with rain, the Crepe Myrtle really started dropping its flowers.  Fall is in the air for the Gulf Coast and we are looking forward to temperatures in the high 80’s, which is practically cool for here.

The snow shovel, which came south with us, is still useful for cleaning up.  Even if it is only pink blossoms and not real snow.

I love when shrubs and trees rain color–such a love thing to see, even if cleaning up becomes necessary.

It’s funny – I don’t think you could buy a snow shovel here! But I do love the fallen crape myrtle blossoms
