Great Cookies for Kids…Flourless Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies

and kids of all ages.  Who does not like peanut butter? Again, these ingredients are easy to find and most may already be in your pantry.  As always, check everything if you have to be Gluten Free.

1 cup of creamy peanut butter

3/4 cup of sugar

1 large egg

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1 cup of semisweet chocolate morsels

*Preheat the oven to 350.  Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

*Stir together first 5 ingredients in medium bowl until well blended.

*Stir in chocolate morsels.

*Drop dough by the rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto the lined baking sheets.

*Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until puffed and lightly browned.

*Cool on baking sheets on a wire rack for 5 minutes.  Remove to wire rack and let cool 15 minutes.

Makes about 2 dozen. Enjoy!

Looks like I need to spy on your blog a bit more. 🙂 My DIL has had horrible trouble with her tummy issues. She’s LI and it has caused some major issues. She was recently tested for allergies to foods, and wheat and pork came up, to name a couple. She has to be so careful, and when they visit, I have to be extra careful because soy is also off the list. Between her and my niece who has a potato allergy, hosting gatherings can be a huge challenge. Anyway, thank you for a list of GF goodies.
